Cory Michael Smith (The Whale, Cock) will star as the 'Fred' to Emilia Clarke's (HBO's "Game of Thrones") 'Holly Golightly' in the world premiere of Tony Award winning playwright Richard Greenberg's new play, Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, it was announced today. It was also announced that this new stage adaption of Capote's classic novella, directed by Sean Mathias, will begin performances at Broadway's Cort Theatre on Monday, March 4 and officially open on Wednesday, March 20.

According to IMDB, stage and screen star Ian McKellen recently revealed that he would like to star in another pantomime show in the future. McKellen told the Guardian: 'I would like to do a pantomime again, because I enjoyed that very much.' He has previously starred as Widow Twankey at the Old Vic.

Following the opening of Terence Rattigan's Flare Path, the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company today (1 April 2011) announce a further two productions to be directed by Trevor Nunn in his role as Artistic Director. After a three week run at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Nunn's production of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in June, followed in September by William Shakespeare's The Tempest. Further productions in the season will be announced shortly.
