Berkeley Rep's discerning theatre patrons, long accustomed to high caliber performances and superior productions, were thoroughly beguiled and delighted with the special pre-Broadway presentation of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land. Starring renowned actors Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, anticipation was naturally high for their performances - not to mention those of Tony Award winners Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley - and no one left the theater disappointed. Ladies and gentlemen, Berkeley Rep has once again raised the bar. Playing for a limited engagement through August 31, No Man's Land is a formidable piece, rich with comedy while at the same time rife with menace and it is simply sublime.

Tony Taccone informed the guests that legendary actors Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will perform at Berkeley Rep in a pre-Broadway engagement of No Man's Land. Award-winning director Sean Mathias stages Harold Pinter's masterwork in the Roda Theatre for an exclusive and strictly limited run in August.

This fall, four great actors return to Broadway in two great plays, performed in repertory. Ian McKellen, Patricku Stewart, Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley star in Harold Pinter's comedy NO MAN'S LAND and Samuel Beckett's classic WAITING FOR GODOT. Sean Mathias' productions present a startling new look at these two theatrical masterpieces.

Due to overwhelming demand, the Barrymore Theatre box office (243 West 47th Street) will open early, for one week only, on Monday, July 29 at 10:00 am through Sunday, August 4 at 6:00 pm, for tickets to Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall, and directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. The box office will be open July 29-August 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and August 4 from Noon to 6:00 pm. After August 4, the box office at the Barrymore will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.

Tickets for Harold Pinter's Betrayal, starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall, and directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols, have only been available for a week, and according to the New York Post, the show has alredy reached $5 million in sales. Michael Riedel writes that the play 'will likely be sold out by the time it plays its first performance Oct. 1.'

Trinity Repertory Company previously announced that three local Rhode Island residents would be receiving Pell Awards this year in addition to Kate Burton, the recipient of the 2013 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts. The 17th annual Pell Awards will be held tonight, June 10, 2013 at Trinity Rep with a reception to follow next door at the Providence Public Library.
