When benevolence, fine artistry and pure movement conjoin, you get Dance Works Unhinged, a benefit concert choreographed and performed by members of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. On Sunday July 20, 2013, the Ailey Citigroup Theater presented an evening of original works for a good cause: the support of the Ailey Dance Resource Fund-ADRF--which provides financial assistance to company members in the form of career transition grants, creative endeavor grants, and emergency loans.

The show grossed $747,615.62 at the 1,057-seat playhouse for the week ending June 27, breaking its previous record of $687,824.90 for the week ending June 20.

On Stage airs Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and again from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. It repeats on Mondays from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM and Tuesdays from 12:30 AM to 1:00 AM.

The critically acclaimed production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, which this week was nominated for 11 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, will launch a National Tour in the fall of 2011. The tour will feature the work of the production's entire Tony-nominated creative team: director Terry Johnson, choreographer Lynne Page, set designer Tim Shortall, costume designer Matthew Wright, lighting designer Nick Richings, sound designer Jonathan Deans and orchestrator/musical supervisor Jason Carr. Cast members from LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, the critically acclaimed new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, will make two appearances on television tomorrow, Thursday, April 29. LA CAGE AUX FOLLES opened on Broadway to rave reviews on April 18. The production is playing at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).
