Tonight, March 28th in New York City, Sage will participate in 'Songs for Sexy Yentas' at Baruch Performing Arts Center, as part of the 'Solo in the City' series. Other artists participating in this series (on different nights from Sage,) include Sandra Bernhard, Tovah Feldshuh, Jackie Hoffman and more.

N.A.S.A.'s The Spirit of Apollo film is out today. The documentary film chronicles Sam Spiegel and DJ Zegon's worldwide travels and collaborations that led to 2009's groundbreaking LP on the same name.

Today, March 26th (5:30-7:pm), Tim Federle, author of Better Nate Than Ever, will interview the 19 year old author, Henry Hodges, who wrote 'How To Act Like a Kid,' at the Drama Book Shop. The interview will be followed by a Q&A with the audience followed by a book signing.

Wednesday night was the second of Marilyn Maye's first 54 Below run (which will continue until March 16) and she sashayed around the stage in front of an almost full house like a woman of 35. Like most of her shows, Maye's performance was a 'live' cabaret Master Class for budding cabaret performers and seasoned professionals alike, and this 'Maye-den Voyage' never went adrift (thanks in part to solid and unobtrusive support from Tedd Frith on piano, Tom Hubbard on bass, and Jim Eklof on drums).

SOLO IN THE CITY: JEWISH WOMEN, JEWISH STARS is a solo performance series which will be presented throughout March at Baruch Performing Arts Center. The series will feature seven leading and emerging NYC-based soloists including Sandra Bernhard, Tovah Feldshuh, Judy Gold, and Jackie Hoffman performing one-woman shows and a special opening lecture/film event. The Baruch Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Baruch College in Manhattan on East 25th Street between Lexington & 3rd Aves.

Tonight, March 8, and Saturday, March 9 2013 Capital Stage's at 2215 J Street will feature a comedy event headlined by popular actress/comedienne Katie Rubin performing new material from her one-woman comedy show Everything! All at Once!
