Hans Schroeder III is a collector of valuable items of interest, and a merchant by trade. One day, a particular object in his possession – an heirloom medallion with a mysterious, and possibly unnatural, origin – catches the attention of a gnomic sage, who convinces Schroeder to embark on a journey to the American heartland. There, he crosses paths with elite Special Forces Operators who served in Desert Storm, setting the stage for author Daniel Zien's exhilarating new novel, Visions of the Black Heaven.
