On Christmas Day, the highly anticipated film version of Les Miserables hits the big screen, and according to producer Cameron Mackintosh, there might be another Boublil & Schonberg musical coming soon after. According to Ohnotheydidint, Mackintosh recently revealed: "If Les Mis is a success then Miss Saigon will be made into a film. At the end of May, theatre fans were treated to an all new trailer for the highly-anticipated LES MIS film, dominated by Anne Hathaway's rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream' from her role as Fantine. Now Hathaway is speaking out about what is was like to play the iconic role. On singing 'I Dreamed a Dream,' she told NY Magazine: 'I apparently looked like I was ready to face the guillotines. They just kept telling me and the cast to ignore the iconic nature of Les Miz and of the song. I had to sing it as if it had never been sung or heard before.'

The Cinetopia International Film Festival, presented by AT&T, announced a portion of the more than 30 films that will screen over the four days of the event, taking place today, May 31 through June 3 at three Ann Arbor landmark locations: the Michigan Theater, the State Theater, and Angell Hall at the University of Michigan.
