THE LION KING, which Channing Gray from The Providence Journal heralded as 'a thrilling spectacle,' will triumphantly return to the PPAC stage on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 for a limited three-week engagement through Sunday, February 20, 2011. The press opening night is Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 7:30P.

Disney Theatrical Productions and DPAC announced today that tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney's THE LION KING will go on sale to the public at the DPAC Ticket Center on Saturday, October 2nd at 8am. The Triangle's most eagerly awaited stage production will begin performances at DPAC on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, January 30, 2011. Casting has been announced for the Salt Lake City engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Salt Lake City's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the Capitol Theatre stage from Wednesday, August 11 to Sunday, September 26, 2010. The press opening night is Friday, August 13 at 8:00 pm.

Disney's THE LION KING has been confirmed for an exclusive four-week premiere engagement at the Benjamin and Marion Schuster Performing Arts Center beginning Tuesday, June 14, with performances playing through Sunday, July 10, 2011.

The Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, is pleased to announce that the producer, cast, and management of Disney's The LION KING have added a special performance to benefit The Fund on Wednesday, August 25 at 2:00pm in Salt Lake City.

The Salt Lake City premiere of Disney's THE LION KING opens tonight, Friday, August 13 at 8:00pm at the Capitol Theatre for a limited engagement of seven weeks through Sunday, September 26.
