The beloved, Tony Award-winning actress Marian Seldes will be honored at the 2011 LOVE 'N' COURAGE Gala - a benefit for the award-winning Theater for the New City's Emerging Playwrights Program - on Monday, February 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan), it has been announced by Crystal Field, co-founder and artistic director of Theater for the New City.

On December 8, 2010 Fourth Arts Block (FAB) launched the pilot of Dance Block, a new program designed to increase the amount of affordable dance rental space in the East 4th Street Cultural District, East Village and Lower East Side.

On Saturday June 5th, 2010, 1pm-5pm, more than thirty youth groups from across the city will come together on East 4th Street between 2nd and Bowery, recently dubbed by the Village Voice as NYC's 'Best City Block,' to present a multi-stage event of free music, theater, dance, spoken word, and interactive exhibits

Fourth Arts Block (FAB) and its 20+ member organizations are offering an alternative to pricey outings with more than 30 performances for $20 or less before March 31st. These event include film showings, tours, theater, burlesque and dance. With the most art per square foot in NYC, East 4th Street continues to produce and present work that is accessible and affordable for everyone to enjoy.

Dance of African Descent Downtown (DADD) Series which provided teaching, performance, and workshop opportunities in the Downtown dance scene for dancers/choreographers of African descent is reuniting to celebrate Aziza who started the DADD Series and her Def Dance Jam Workshop (DDJW), an inter-generational company of performing artists with (and without) disabilities.
