2011 Barrymore Award Winners Announced!

The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia's 2011 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre took place on Wednesday, October 3, 2011! The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 66 voters who each saw 8 of the 147 shows nominated this year. Four additional awards-Excellence in Theatre Education and Community Service Award, the Ted and Stevie Wolf Award for New Approaches to Collaborations, Brown Martin Philadelphia Award and the F. Otto Haas Award for an Emerging Philadelphia Theatre Artist-will also be distributed at the ceremony.

The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 66 voters who each saw 8 of the 147 shows nominated this year. Four additional awards-Excellence in Theatre Education and Community Service Award, the Ted and Stevie Wolf Award for New Approaches to Collaborations, Brown Martin Philadelphia Award and the F. O'Neill Theatre Hosts National Puppetry Conference in June

The National Puppetry Conference is proud to announce the 21st annual Puppetry Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Hands down, the best venue in which to collaborate, experiment, explore and develop your ideas and talents relating to puppet theatre, the National Puppetry Conference is open to puppeteers, theatre designers, actors, musicians, directors, artists, producers, playwrights and students. The Pre-Conference intensive workshops run from June 8th to the 10th with the full Conference beginning June 11th and culminating with public performances June 18th and 19th.
