King's Singers & NY Pops In 'A KING'S SINGERS HOLIDAY' 12/20

Counted among the world's elite classical performers, The King's Singers with conductor Rob Fisher will join The New York Pops in the orchestra's 20th annual holiday celebration at Carnegie Hall on Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20 at 8:00 PM. Entitled A King's Singers Holiday, the concert will include countless time-honored carols to ring in this sentimental season along with treasured songs by Irving Berlin, Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. Cumming, Loveless and Szot Featured in Lincoln Center's 'American Songbook' 2009 Season, Runs 1/14 - 3/6

Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook returns in January for its eleventh season celebrating the diversity of American popular song. For 17 nights of pop, folk, cabaret, R&B, country, rock, show tunes, bluegrass and multimedia, the series will explore the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic contemporary songwriting. The 2009 season - January 14 through March 6 - will bring to the stage some of today's most gifted interpreters of song, including top vocalist Kurt Elling and country's winning Patty Loveless. It will feature the rare opportunity to hear Paulo Szot, star of Broadway's South Pacific, and film and stage star Alan Cumming, in intimate concert settings.

Chicago the Musical Extends its Windy City Stay!

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of CHICAGO The Musical are delighted to announce that John O'Hurley will star as Billy Flynn in a limited engagement of the hit musical, CHICAGO, beginning February 25, 2009 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W Randolph St). CHICAGO will be extending its previously announced limited run for an additional week through March 8, 2009.
