Primary Stages continues its 30th anniversary season with Lives of the Saints, a world premiere collection of delightfully funny and unforgettable short plays by David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur) and directed by Tony Award winner John Rando (All in the Timing, On The Town, Urinetown). The limited engagement runs February 3 - March 27, 2015 atPrimary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project. Opening night is Tuesday, February 24 at 7PM. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Roger Rees, Tom Nelis and Michelle Veintimilla will join Chita Rivera in John Kander and Fred Ebb's The Visit, which is expected to arrive on Broadway this spring. It has not yet been announced where and when the show will open, but an official announcement is imminent.

According to the New York Post, John Kander and Fred Ebb's The Visit, which has been long-rumored for a Broadway run might be on its way to New York in 2015. Michael Riedel writes that book writer Terrence McNally, whose IT'S ONLY A PLAY is currently selling out the Schoenfeld Theatre, might be in the position to acquire funding from the play's producers and a theatre from the Shubert Organization.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents The Petersons in "Oh, my God! It's The Petersons!" on Saturday, September 27th at 930pm. The Petersons are a five piece contemporary music ensemble comprised of five accomplished actors, writers, and comedians who play original rock tunes and present a continuing serial comedy about a misfit band from upstate New York who still want to make it big. Having performed more than 40 of these episodes around New York City at Joe's Pub, Caroline's on Broadway, The Bottom Line and many other venues, the band returns to the scene with their first performance in several years. But don't call it a comeback!

The newly staged version of Kander and Ebb's The Visit, starring Chita Rivera, concludes its run in the Williamstown Theatre Festival today, August 17. Under the direction of John Doyle, the show officially opened on August 2.

Broadway legend Chita Rivera makes her Williamstown Theatre Festival debut opposite Festival favorite and former Artistic Director Roger Rees in the newest incarnation of Kander and Ebb's THE VISIT, the musical based on the 1956 tragicomedy by Swiss playwright Friedrich Durrenmatt, with book by Terrence McNally. Director John Doyle has reimagined it as a one-act with a focus on the love story, and his collaboration with Choreographer Graciela Daniele results in a show that makes movement a vital component to convey elements of the narrative without words.

Williamstown Theatre Festival will soon present The Visit, which runs on the Main Stage from July 31 through August 17. In her Festival debut, Broadway legend Chita Rivera embodies Claire Zachanassian, the oft-widowed richest woman in the world, in The Visit. When Claire returns to the hardship-stricken town of her birth, the locals pray that her wealth will bring them a new lease on life, but the carefully plotted renewal she offers carries a dreadful price. Williamstown Theatre Festival Producer Stephen M. Kaus just announced the full cast and creative team for The Visit, which runs on the Main Stage from July 31 through August 17.

Atlantic Theater Company presents the revival of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's musical The Threepenny Opera.
