New Jersey's CC Coletti Band on Rock On Radio 5/16

Danny Coleman is pleased to announce the CC Coletti Band, featuring CC Coletti , Anthony Krizan, and TJ Jablonski as his guests on Rock On Radio, Sunday May 16th at 10pm. The band will discuss the debut performance of their Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin tribute concert 'Experience Janis'. The band will also perform songs from CC Coletti's album 'Woodstock Lane'.

Virginia Opera Closes Season With PORGY AND BESS

Virginia Opera is wrapping up its 35th Anniversary Season with the scorching production of the Gershwins' Porgy and Bess. The production, also celebrating a famous 75th Anniversary, is a brave American classic bridging the gap between Broadway and opera. The clever love story between characters Porgy and Bess explodes with a fiery tempo, amid George and Ira Gershwin's distinguished style featuring jazz, Broadway, and opera. Porgy and Bess is based on DuBose Heyward's novel Porgy and the play of the same name he co-wrote with his wife Dorothy Heyward, which focuses on African-American life in the early 1920s in Catfish Row located in Charleston, South Carolina.

Jack O'Brien & Jerry Mitchell Wrestle with New LOVE NEVER DIES / CATCH ME IF YOU CAN Scheduling Conflict

The New York Times reports that the anticipated Broadway productions of LOVE NEVER DIES or CATCH ME IF YOU CAN may possibly find themselves with a new director/choreographer team shortly. Director/choreographer duo Jack O'Brien and Jerry Mitchell are attached to both projects, but now that LOVE NEVER DIES has announced a delayed Broadway opening to the Spring of 2011 - the same time CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is slated to premiere - it is questionable as to whether the pair can realistically take on both anymore.
