MCC THEATER will next feature Elizabeth Reaser, Gia Crovatin, Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne, and Frederick Weller for the world premiere of MCC Playwright-in-Residence Neil LaBute's new play, The Money Shot, directed by Terry Kinney. Performances for The Money Shot begin at the Lucille LortelTheatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 4, 2014. An official opening is set for September 22, 2014 and it is currently scheduled through October 12, 2014. The cast just met the press and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special event!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Tony nominee Andrew Rannells will soon succeed Neil Patrick Harris in Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway. Rannells, who will begin performances on August 20, after Harris departs on August 17, just met the press alongside Tony winner Lena Hall, John Cameron Mitchell, and Stephen Trask this morning. Tony Award nominee and 'American Idol' finalist Constantine Maroulis returned to Rock of Ages as Drew last week and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture his epic return. Maroulis will appear for a limited 12-week engagement through October 26, 2014. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical Rock of Ages - which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary on Broadway, and its spot in the Top 30 Longest-Running Broadway Shows in History - continues to party eight times a week at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th Street.

Second Stage Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Laura Eason's play, SEX WITH STRANGERS, which opened last week, will now play through Sunday, August 31st. The production stars Emmy Award Winner Anna Gunnand Tony Award Nominee Billy Magnussen and is directed by David Schwimmer.
