'So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star?,' a BroadwayWorld TV exclusive series, is teaming up with musical theatre songwriting duo KINOSIAN & BLAIR. Kinosian & Blair will be writing the 11 o'clock number to a musical adaptation of a 1980s cult television hit that series lead, Micki Manuel Minnelli, is auditioning for!

'So Ya Wanna Be a Broadway Star?,' a BroadwayWorld TV exclusive series will wrap it's first season Sunday, November 2nd with an exciting lineup of Broadway cameos. The first Broadway guest appearance will be none other than the lady in green herself, Broadway's current Elphaba, Christine Dwyer!

Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? This weekend's big news: CINDERELLA and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST go on tour, THE NANCE airs on PBS and Billy Porter's WHILE I YET LIVE opens on Sunday!

BroadwayWorld's own Randy Rainbow will host a weekly Broadway Brunch on Sundays beginning October 12th from 2-5PM at Room 53, a new piano bar and restaurant located in the heart of Hell's Kitchen.

David Rabe's Sticks and Bones, the production launching The New Group's 20th Anniversary Season, will feature Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Holly Hunter, Morocco Omari, Bill Pullman, Ben Schnetzer and Raviv Ullman. Previews begin Tuesday, October 21 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Thursday, November 6. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays through December 14 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). In celebration of Disney's Beauty and the Beast's 20th anniversary on the stage, Disney Theatrical Productions, NETworks and Broadway Entertainment Group will present the first-ever international tour for the title. The English-language tour will open at Istanbul's Zorlu Center in October 2014 and will tour to diverse international markets including Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia marking the first time Disney's timeless musical will have been seen in these territories. Roundabout Theatre Company will soon present Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold. The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,'Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max,' begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Monica West has joined the cast of the kef theatrical production of IT'S ONLY KICKBALL, STUPID -- the new play by Caroline Prugh and directed by Adam Fitzgerald. She will step in for Autum Hurlbert, who had to leave the production do to scheduling conflicts, for performances through Sunday, September 14 at The Hartley House (413 West 46th Street).
