Fifty years after her legendary Carnegie Hall debut, The New York Pops remembers Hollywood icon Judy Garland with a song-for-song re-creation of the 1961 performance that is referred to by so many as "the greatest night in show business history".

The Harbor Lights Theater Company, a professional not-for-profit company dedicated to illuminating the human experience through the highest quality theatrical production and arts education, announces its professional theater training program 'Enter Stage Right' and its Spring Semester courses, for youth ages 11-18.

On Monday, April 19, Ilene Graff made her Broadway at Birdland debut with her concert, 'First You Dream.' Accompanied by her Musical Director-husband Ben Lanzarone and singing a duet with daughter Nikka Lanzarone, Graff performed songs ranging from Harold Arlen to the Beatles, the Bergmans to Sondheim, all with unique interpretations and arrangements. Family, friends and fans packed the music room, including Ilene's cousin Randy Graff, Joanna Gleason, Steve Marzullo, Mark Sendroff, Nick Adams, Lori Tan Chinn and New York fire chief Dan Daly. Daly called Ilene, 'The quintessential sweetheart!'

Primary Stages closed its celebratory 25th Anniversary Season by proudly announcing the naming of its School of Theater in honor of founding board members Marvin and Anne Einhorn last week on April 16. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the ceremony. The school will now be officially known as Primary Stages Marvin and Anne Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Twenty-five years after helping to found Primary Stages, Marvin and Anne Einhorn continue to serve the theater company and still report to duty each day at the Primary Stages office. They personify the renowned theater company's fierce and unwavering commitment to producing exciting work Off-Broadway.

Composer and Lyricist Scott Alan will return to London's West End on Saturday, March 13th, 2010, as he takes to the stage of the Prince of Wales Theatre's Delfont Room. This intimate concert will feature Scott Alan at the piano playing some of his most beloved songs from his CD's 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' and 'Keys,' as well as songs from his upcoming CD, 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' which he is currently in the studio recording with some of today's brightest Broadway and West End performers.

Hartford Stage's production of 'Motherhood Out Loud' opens tonight, March 5. The show is schedule to run through March 21, 2010.

On November 9, The League of Professional Theatre Women will be present a New Play Festival on at the Cherry Lane Theatre in downtown Manhattan. The festival entitled 'Turning Points: Women Have Their Say' is designed to provide a forum for women in the arts to showcase their work.
