Public LAB Announces Complete Casting for NEIGHBORS, Tickets on Sale 1/20

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced complete casting for NEIGHBORS, written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and directed by Niegel Smith, the second show of the 2009-2010 Public LAB season. NEIGHBORS begins performances on Tuesday, February 16 and runs through Sunday, March 7. Tickets go on-sale on Wednesday, January 20.

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC Gets New Cast Recording, 1/4

PS Classics and Nonesuch will partner is set to release the new Broadway cast album of Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. The cast, led by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, will head into the studio January 4. No release date for the disc has been announced.

Broadway's BURN THE FLOOR Extends Through January 3, 2010

The producers of BURN THE FLOOR, announced today that that the show will extend through January 3, 2010. The Latin and ballroom spectacular had originally announced a limited 12-week run. The first new show of the Broadway season, BURN THE FLOOR broke the box office record at the Longacre Theatre two weeks running. Anya Garnis and Pasha Kovalev of Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance' joined the company on August 18.

'SYTYCD's' Mary Murphy Makes Broadway Debut in BURN THE FLOOR One Night Only, 12/22

The producers of Broadway's hottest hit announced today that Mary Murphy of FOX's 'So You Think You Can Dance' will make her Broadway debut for one night only on Tuesday, December 22nd at 7 PM, when she 'quicksteps' into the BURN THE FLOOR company at the Longacre Theatre. She will join the dance juggernaut that has taken Broadway by storm, breaking box office records and extending its limited engagement. The show, originally announced for a 12 week engagement, has been extended through January 3 2010. Mary Murphy will be partnered with ballroom champion Vaidas Skimelis.

A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC is a True Family Affair for Ramona Mallory

While those attending the first Broadway revival of 'A Little Night Music' may be lured in by the big names of such classic stage and screen actors as Angela Lansbury, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alexander Hanson, Broadway newcomer Ramona Mallory, who plays the role of Anne, may have one of the most interesting connections to the production. Mallory is the daughter of Victoria Mallory, the actress who created the role on Broadway in 1973.
