Tony Award® Winner Sutton Foster reunites with esteemed Music Director Michael Rafter for a national tour of An Evening with Sutton Foster, featuring Broadway show stoppers and selections from her debut album Wish. Produced by Fox Theatricals, the tour will launch at The Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis on Thursday, February 4th.

By popular demand, Gay Marshall -BILLBOARD Top World Music Artist and Playbill Top 10 Diva - will reprise her stunning concert series - PIAF: Queen of Heart - at New York's Metropolitan Room this winter. The show schedule is Thursdays, February 18th and 25th, March 4th, 11th and 18th at 7:30 PM.

In 2004, Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen created an autobiographical musical by the name of [title of show] as an entry for the New York Musical Theater Festival. On Wednesday, January 6, the current cast of ALTAR BOYZ, in addition to cast alum, presented a $203,916 check to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids that the show raised for the organization at New World Stages.

Broadway icon Brian Stokes Mitchell can now add literature to his lengthy list of artistic accomplishments. The actor and singer recently collaborated with award-winning writer Harriet Ziefert on the children's book, 'Lights on Broadway: A Theatrical Tour from A to Z'. The book offers young theatre enthusiasts a fun approach to all things theatrical, including a slew of quotes from famous Broadway performers, and fun-filled theater facts and trivia. Mitchell wrote the introduction and postscript for the book, and recorded the song I Was Here.

Theatre Southwest will present their production of David Lindsey-Abaire's play, WONDER OF THE WORLD, beginning December 31st with a special New Years Gala. The show will run through January 23rd. The cast for the production will include James Reed, Stacy A. Spaeth, Ananka Kohnitz, Cheryl Tanner, Brian Heaton, Jeanette Sebesta, and John Kaiser. The show is directed by David Holloway.

Legendary Broadway star, actress/singer Betty Buckley will continue her successful Song Interpretation Workshop in January 2010. The Fort Worth native will assist aspiring young artists and experienced performers and educators in the craft of singing, acting and storytelling.

Like me you may have seen the original Broadway cast of Dreamgirls which opened in 1981 that won 6 Tony Awards and ran for four years. You also may have seen the star-studded 2006 film. So, the question remains, 'Should I or shouldn't I see the revival of this landmark musical directed by Robert Longbottom?' The answer is an unqualified yes.
