Beginning April 23 for three weekends, the women from Jerry Herman's hit musicals will grace the Alden Theatre stage in his cabaret-style revue -- appropriately styled Jerry's Girls. Nine talented vocalists from all over the Washington area will sing and dance their way through more than thirty of Herman's tunes, including the title numbers from Mame, Hello Dolly! and Milk and Honey.

Helen Stenborg and Stephen McKinley Henderson have been named to receive the annual Richard Seff Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation. The award, a $1,000 check and crystal trophy for each, honors a veteran female and male character actor for the best performance in a supporting role in a Broadway or Off-Broadway production.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs has announced the nominees for the 2010 24th Annual MAC Awards. The ceremony honoring the nominees, will take place on May 4, 2010 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, and will be hosted by Sharon McNight. Leslie Uggams will be honored for Lifetime Achievement, with Board of Directors Awards being presented to Peter Leavy and playbill.com. The event will begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:00pm. Lennie Watts will direct the evening, with Tracy Stark musical directing.
