The multi-award-winning ZERO HOUR is in its final two weeks and Toronto audiences are invited to celebrate the February 28 birthday of American theatre hero Zero Mostel with a 2-for-1 ticket offer through to the end of the run. Written by and starring the amazingly talented N.Y. Drama Desk winner Jim Brochu, ZERO HOUR runs to March 11 at the Bathurst St. Theatre.

MCC Theater's newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical, had its first preview tonight at 7 p.m. at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). In attendance was Piper Laurie, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance as Margaret White in the film version of Carrie (Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie plays the role in the musical). MCC THEATER has confirmed that the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical, will have its first preview tonight at 7 p.m. at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) and that the performance is completely sold-out (cancellation line forms this afternoon at 5 p.m.).

But this fall, the stars will come out for Theatricum in November - that is, the Hollywood stars. A Sunday afternoon benefit for the theater company, one of Los Angeles' oldest and most respected, is set to take place on November 20 @ 3:30 pm at Topanga's historic Mountain Mermaid.
