Sydney Theatre Company's TOT MOM will close on February 7, 2010.

Due to high demand for tickets, Goodman Theatre extends its world-premiere production of The Long Red Road, a powerful new play by Brett C. Leonard, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, by one week-now running February 13 through March 21, 2010.

Academy Award-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman will take part in a moderated conversation discussing his film and theater career with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre's artistic director, Jim Helsinger on April 10. The event will take place during PlayFest! The Harriett Lake Festival of New Plays which runs from April 2 to 11, 2010.

Rehearsals begin this week for Goodman Theatre's world premiere of A True History of the Johnstown Flood by Rebecca Gilman, whose work was most recently included in Time magazine's 'Best Theatre Productions of the Decade.' Commissioned by the Goodman and directed by Robert Falls, A True History of the Johnstown Flood runs March 13 - April 18, 2010 in the Goodman's Albert Theatre. Tickets start at $25 and go on sale this Friday, February 5 at GoodmanTheatre.org.

Athena Theatre Company has announced that Sally Burtenshaw will replace Ann Farthing in the role of Mom in the production of Sam Shepard's True West currently playing thru February 14 at Theatre Row.
