ANYTHING GOES to be Featured on The Early Show and David Letterman This Week

On Wednesday, June 8th between 7AM-9AM Sutton Foster, Joel Grey and Kathleen Marshall will take 'CBS Early Show' behind the scenes at Anything Goes and on Tuesday, June 14th watch 'The Late Show with David Letterman' to see Sutton Foster and the cast perform 'Blow, Gabriel Blow' between 11:35PM-12:35AM.

THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON Recoups on Broadway

The strictly limited engagement of THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON played its final performance on Sunday, May 29th at 3:00PM. Now, Variety reports that the play managed to 'overcome the bad press to achieve a hair's-breadth recoupment of its $2.75 million capitalization.'

Roundabout Theatre Company's Tony-nominated ANYTHING GOES got a little more special this weekend during Fleet Week! After the show, Captain Zubah Koweh (US Marine Corp) brought his girlfriend ENS Amy Sullivan (US Navy) to attend a performance of ANYTHING GOES on Broadway. Following the curtain call, Captain Zubah Koweh (in uniform) got to propose marriage to his girlfriend in front of a sold-out audience while standing on stage surrounded by Sutton Foster, Joel Grey and all of the show's sailors. David Ives' sold-out, highly-acclaimed new comedy, THE SCHOOL FOR LIES, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie will close Sunday, May 29.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced complete casting today for the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park summer season featuring MEASURE FOR MEASURE, directed by David Esbjornson, and ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, directed by Daniel Sullivan, running in repertory June 6 - July 30 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. MEASURE FOR MEASURE begins performances on Monday, June 6 and officially opens on Thursday, June 30. ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL begins performances on Saturday, June 11 and officially opens on Saturday, June 25. Tickets to both shows running in repertory are free and distributed the day of the performance.
