Pee-wee Herman Begins Previews on Broadway at Sondheim Theater, 10/26

Film and television icon Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) will bring his signature brand of hilarious mayhem to Broadway for a special six-week limited engagement of the acclaimed stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show. The production will begin previews October 26 at the Sondheim Theatre.

Chrix Mixon to Play Dr. Martin Luther in WITTENBERG this Spring

THE PEARL THEATRE COMPANY (J.R. Sullivan, Artistic Director; Shira Beckerman, Managing Director) has announced that actor Chris Mixon, currently featured in the company's production of THE SNEEZE, will appear in the spring production of WITTENBERG as Dr. Martin Luther. WITTENBERG will be directed by J.R. Sullivan and run at New York City Center Stage II March 11 through April 17, 2011. Tickets are currently on sale.

Review - The Sneeze: Get Out Your Handkerchiefs

It's always a good sign when you walk into a theatre for a comedy and right away the set is making you laugh.  Such was the case for me with the playful space Jo Winiarski created for the Pearl Theatre Company's uproariously funny mounting of The Sneeze, Michael Frayn's vaudevillian octet of comedies adapted from early Chekhov one-acts and short stories.

Waterwall Co to Present THE WIZARD OF WALL STREET With Nicole Parker, Aug 26-29

The IU Department of Theatre and Drama and acclaimed New York theater company Waterwell will present several 'workshop performances' -- minimal props and costumes with a focus on sound and lighting design and final script development -- of the premiere of Waterwell's new The Wizard of Wall Street: The Life and Achievements of Financier/Railroad King Jay Gould.
