The Bard's famous line holds true at 2nd Story where Artistic Director Ed Shea has returned the UpStage theater to its original in-the-round configuration. Shea, well known for shaking things up mid-season, said this about his decision to go back to 2nd Story's in-the-round roots: 'I'd forgotten how intimate, immediate and profoundly simple theatre can be.'

The Wagner College Theatre has announced that the winner of this year's Stanley Drama Award is Bob Clyman of North Caldwell, N.J., for his play, 'The Good Bet.'

AR Gurney's personable pooch is making a return visit to satisfy all the customers who were turned away during last spring's sold out run. The eight-performance rerun will be from September 4 - September 14. In early October, 2nd Story kicks off its GR8 Season -- eight great plays -- four UpStage and four Down.

Estelle Parsons, a theatre legend whose illustrious stage career spans six decades, will play a 92-year-old French matron in Palm Beach Dramaworks' production of My Old Lady by Israel Horovitz, which runs from December 5, 2014 through January 4, 2015 at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis).

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, announced today that the Lifetime Achievement Award Obie will go to the esteemed ESTELLE PARSONS. The OBIE Awards Ceremony Will Be Co-hosted by Tamara Tunie and Hamish Linklater, and presented by Betsy Aidem, Harvey Fierstein, Lena Hall, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Andy Karl , David Bar Katz, Cristin Milioti , Kelli O'Hara , Lily Rabe and Stephen Trask.

Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble, announced today the final additions to the lineup for Pulitzer Fest, a festival of play readings celebrating Pulitzer Prize-winning plays, featuring Labyrinth Theater Company Members and Guest Artists. Five plays will be presented over the course of one week, followed by additional free play readings on the weekend, including Harvey, How I Learned to Drive, They Knew What They Wanted, and more. Tony Award winner Stephen Spinella co-stars in this wickedly funny and poignant story about a 79-year-old artist in a showdown with her family over where she'll spend her remaining years.
