IFC Films announced today from the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival that the company is acquiring all North American rights to director Mira Nair's THE RELUCTANT FUNDAMENTALIST starring Liev Schreiber, Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, and Riz Ahmed in the title roles.

Pioneer Theatre Company opens their 2012-2013 season on Friday with the Regional Premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights. The production runs from September 14 through September 29, 2012, at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre in Salt Lake City Utah.

Tickets for 'The 46(th) ANNUAL CMA AWARDS and 'CMA Country Christmas' will go on sale to the public Saturday, Sept. 29 (10:00 AM/CT).

BROADWAY BARES XXII: HAPPY ENDINGS, a fairytale evening of modern-day burlesque featuring 227 of New York's sexiest dancers, made history for the third year in a row on June 17, by raising a record-breaking $1,254,176 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. As has been the buzz on Twitter, Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be returning in 2012 to host 'Country Music's Biggest Night(TM)' for a fifth time. 'The 46th Annual CMA Awards' airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The world premiere of Big Maybelle: Soul Of The Blues, featuring the incredible Tony Award winner Lillias White, is off to a great start at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor. Now playing through September 2, this tells the story of the American jazz singer as she rises to the top and her heart wrenching fall from glory.

The Met Reframed, an unprecedented Metropolitan Museum artist residency, breaks new ground as a collaboration between artist and institution. With exceptional artistic integrity and independence, the Cuban-Canadian artist Alex Cuba has achieved a remarkable level of success. He makes a genre- and nationality-defying music, runs his own record label from a town 14 hours outside Vancouver, and won both the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album, in addition to a heap of critical acclaim, for his most recent album. On his own Caracol Records imprint, he will release the follow-up, Ruido en el Sistema, this October. The first Spanish-language single, "Eres Tu," will be available on August 7, following the release of the English-language version, "Are You," this past April.

The world's largest solo theatre festival, established in 2010 at Theatre ROW on 42nd Street in Manhattan, has grown to more than twice its original size. One hundred solo productions will be presented between October 11 and November 18, 2012, among them fifteen shows by artists who successfully performed at the United Solo Festival in the past.

After the success of Michael Frayn's Noises Off, his gripping cold war drama Democracy finishes its run at the Old Vic Theatre tonight, July 28.
