It's still tight at the top of all the BWW:UK 2013 Award categories! Your votes can still make a difference as The Book of Mormon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Once all battle it out for the musical theatre prizes.

Voting closes on Friday for this year's BWW:UK Awards! The Book Of Mormon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Once all look set to win for the musicals - and Hadley Fraser may pick up a special double award for his performances in a musical and a play.

The Book of Mormon is leading in many of the New Musical categories - but Once and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is running it close!

Last night, 17 October 2013, the National Theatre's smash hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors became the longest running show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in its almost two hundred-year history, celebrating this landmark with a special Gala performance as the production welcomed the new cast. Big West End showstoppers Once, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Book of Mormon are leading the way, with the competition just as tight for the fringe categories - Chichester's The Pajama Game and Southwark Playhouse's Titanic are also garnering the votes at the moment.

Rupert Goold, the Almeida Theatre's Artistic Director, will direct the World Premiere ofAmerican Psycho, a new musical thriller with book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik, based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis. It will run from 3 December 2013 to 25 January 2014 with Press Night on 12 December.

Having travelled over 25,500 miles worldwide and performed almost 500 times as loveable chancer Francis Henshall,Owain Arthur has returned to the Theatre Royal Haymarket to lead the cast in One Man, Two Guvnors, the National Theatre's internationally acclaimed smash hit comedy. This week thirty young dancers will take to the stage at the Victoria Palace Theatre as Ballet Girls in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical. The National Theatre's internationally acclaimed smash-hit comedy One Man, Two Guvnors will complete its West End run on 1 March 2014, prior to a UK and Ireland tour beginning in May 2014. One Man, Two Guvnors, which has been seen by over one million people worldwide and will be the longest running show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in almost 200 years, will have played almost 900 London performances when it completes its West End run.

Today, 17 July 2013, 10 year old Elliott Hanna from Liverpool, will become the thirty-fourth and youngest boy ever to play Billy Elliot in the West End. Also joining the cast will be 10 year old Demi Lee from Middlesborough, as Billy's dance teacher's daughter Debbie. Now in its ninth year at the Victoria Palace Theatre, Billy Elliot the Musical was recently awarded its fifth Olivier Award - the BBC Radio 2 Audience Award voted for by the theatregoing public. Earlier this year Billy Elliot the Musical welcomed its 4 millionth patron to the Victoria Palace Theatre where the show has now extended booking to 21 June 2014.

The Audience, which just began performances in the West End starring Helen Mirren, will be filmed and broadcast live from the Gielgud Theatre for National Theatre Live today, June 13, 2013. The production has already brought in nearly £4 million in ticket sales before its opening on March 5. The play is running through June 15.

Internationally acclaimed actress Helen Mirren's performance as The Queen in the world premiere of Peter Morgan's THE AUDIENCE, directed by Stephen Daldry, will be seen by cinema audiences worldwide when National Theatre Live broadcasts the play live from London's Gielgud Theatre on June 13, 2013, with varying dates internationally and encore screenings throughout the summer. THE AUDIENCE reunites Mirren and Morgan after collaborating on the 2006 film The Queen, in which Mirren also portrayed Elizabeth II, winning the Academy, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and BAFTA Awards for Best Actress for her performance. For their performances in THE AUDIENCE, both Mirren and Richard McCabe (as former Prime Minister Harold Wilson) won 2013 Olivier Awards for Best Actress and Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Universal Stage Productions, Working Title Films, Old Vic Productions and NETworks Presentations, LLC announced today, in association with Time for Fun (T4F), that the North American Tour of Billy Elliot the Musical will travel to South America for a limited three-week engagement from Friday, August 2, to Sunday, August 18, at Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil. Based on the international smash-hit film and featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry and choreography by Peter Darling Billy Elliot the Musical has earned critical acclaim around the world and was the winner of ten 2009 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
