Will Hammerstein, grandson of musical theatre legend Oscar Hammerstein II, has every intention of preserving his grandfather's legacy. In 1941, the lyricist purchased Highland Farm, a sweeping property outside of Philadelphia. Now his grandson seeks to purchase the house and accompanying barn and renovate them into a Hammerstein museum.

Tony Award nominee and renowned Broadway actor Michel Bell makes his Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston debut this month. Bell will revive the role of JOE, the performance that earned him a Tony Award nomination in Hal Prince's 1995 Broadway production of Show Boat. Bell's bass-baritone delivery of the iconic song 'Ol' Man River' brought audiences to their feet on Broadway. Bell brings his immense talents to the Reagle stage now through July 16 for 8 performances only, in this intimate Goodspeed Musicals version of the Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II masterpiece. Celebrity Attractions will bring seven Broadway hit shows to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center for its 2017-2018 season. Here's the awesome line-up!

Broadway's "Phantom," Ciaran Sheehan, returns to Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston to take on the role of GAYLORD RAVENAL in Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's 1927 masterpiece Show Boat. Running from July 6-16 for 8 performances only, Show Boat will also star Boston's own Sarah Oakes Muirhead (Sunday in the Park with George) as MAGNOLIA HAWKS.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Doyle and Managing Director Jeff Griffin, today announced plans for the company's 50th Anniversary season beginning this fall. 

Tony, Emmy, and two-time Golden Globe nominee Matthew Morrison will headline Westport Country Playhouse's 2017 fundraising gala on Saturday evening, September 9. New this year will be the Gala's move to Saturday evening instead of Monday night as in past seasons. The Gala's theme, 'Moonlight Over Venice,' is a nod to the Playhouse's autumn production of 'Romeo and Juliet'.
