CAMELOT Comes to The Ordway, Now thru 5/17

Billie Wildrick to Make SMT Directorial Debut

Seattle Musical Theatre's 2015/2016 season roars to life with the high-voltage rock opera JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Seattle superstar Billie Wildrick makes her SMT directorial debut as director and will be joined by SMT veterans SMT Associate Music Consultant Brandon Peck as music director and BroadwayWorld Award-winning Troy Wageman as choreographer.

Minnesota Opera Opens CARMEN Tonight

MINNEAPOLIS (April 22, 2015) – With three days to go before the curtain rises on Minnesota Opera's final show of the season, Carmen breaks all ticket sales records in the company's 52-season history. Carmen's tickets sold to date currently exceed the previous record of $951,000 in revenue earned for the full run of the 2014 boundary-busting production of The Magic Flute, which returns for an encore presentation in Minnesota Opera's upcoming 2015–2016 season.

Cast Announced for DAMN YANKEES at The Ordway

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts has announced the complete casting for its much anticipated summer production of Damn Yankees. The Ordway-produced musical comedy runs June 16-28 for a total of 16 performances.
