Cleveland Public Theatre Presents ENTRY POINT A New Play Development Festival

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to announce the first annual ENTRY POINT - A New Play Development Festival, the first of CPT's three-part New Play Development series. ENTRY POINT is a new platform for artists to develop their work in the early stages of creation, then share that work with the public in an interactive forum.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, December 18 with the 8th Annual Holiday Spectacular! with two different shows at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum. Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has announced the recipients of the third round of the 2016 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards. The awards, totaling $669,000, allow 16 productions extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.

Irish Repertory Theatre and Dot Dot Productions, in association with The American Irish Historical Society, present the world premiere of THE DEAD, 1904 - an immersive adaptation of James Joyce's classic story, 'The Dead,' adapted by the Pulitzer Prize winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon (Moy Sand and Gravel) and novelist Jean Hanff Korelitz (Admission, You Should Have Known).
