THE MEETING* to Honor Broadway Legend Patti LuPone This Month

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, April 23 with a celebration of Broadway legend Patti LuPone at 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

World Premiere Play GOONIE Comes to Atwater Village Theatre 4/7

Goonie, a world premiere play written and performed by Terry Maratos, will run for a limited engagement of five weeks at the Atwater Village Theatre with opening set for Friday, April 7 at 8pm, it was announced today. There will be one Pay-What-You-Can preview performance on Thursday, April 6 at 8pm. Directed by Jim Anzide, the run will continue through May 5 only.

SF DanceWorks Announces 2017 Season

Now in its second season,SFDanceworks, a repertory dance company founded by San Francisco Ballet soloist James Sofranko, has announced details for this year's program, June 22-24, co-presented by ODC Theater. The U.S. premiere of British choreographer Christopher Bruce's Shadows and a newly commissioned work by Izzie Award-winning dance maker James Graham highlight a season that also includes works by Alejandro Cerrudo, José Limón, Danielle Roweand Penny Saunders.

Kritzerland Announces THE APRIL FOOLS Concert

Kritzerland has announced a new concert event coming on Sunday, April 2, 2017 entitled "The April Fools." This entertaining evening will take place at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal in North Hollywood, California.

THE MEETING Will Honor The Velvet Underground at Joe's Pub 3/19

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, March 19 with a celebration of the legendary rock band Velvet Underground at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests will be announced soon. Tracy Stark, who leads a four piece band, serves as the evening's music director.

THE PIRATE QUEEN Sails in to the Artisan Center Theater

THE PIRATE QUEEN opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, March 24, 2017 and runs through Saturday, April 15, 2017. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, andSaturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning April 1. Reserved seating tickets are $24.00 for adults, $22.00 for students and seniors, and $12.00 for children 12 and under. Monday through Thursdaytickets are $22.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtisanCT.com, or by calling the box office at 817-284-1200.

Official: Long May He Reign! Brian d'Arcy James Will Rejoin HAMILTON in April

The musical HAMILTON's very first King George III, three-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, returns to the role for a limited engagement on Broadway starting April 14, it has been announced by HAMILTON producer Jeffrey Seller. Mr. James created the role of King George when HAMILTON debuted at the Public Theater in 2015.
