THE BIBLE reached a new milestone today with 1 million units sold across Blu-ray, DVD and DigitalHD.

'White Noise' is the first play by Washington, DC artist Tom Block (www.tomblock.com). It depicts a philosophical artist who travels to Detroit for an exhibit, where he is hosted by an aging, bickering couple who are wealthy, stingy and tormented. The play painstakingly explores Block's own thought process. Its set is a 25 foot long mural by Block which is based on a 13th century Sufi tract, 'The Conference of the Birds' by Attar, which also represents the psyche of the main character. The play raises questions of mysticism and the application of spirituality in our lives. Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., NYC, will present the work's New York debut tonight, June 27 to July 14. Moema Umann directs. Block is a well-known painter, human right activist and author of two books, 'Shalom/Salaam: A Story of a Mystical Fraternity' and 'A Fatal Addiction: War in the Name of God.'

Undercover Productions will present the WORLD PREMIERE of ETHEL SINGS: Espionage in High C, written by Joan Beber. ETHEL SINGS begins previews on June 27th, with a June 28th opening at Walker Space. Mayor Michael A. Nutter announced today that Berry Gordy the legendary force behind the creation of Motown and many of America's top pop music stars will receive the 2013 Marian Anderson Award.

The third annual Celebrate Sundance Institute Los Angeles Benefit, celebrating artistry and visionary leadership in independent film. This year, the benefit will honor the life and work of beloved journalist and film critic Roger Ebert with the Vanguard Leadership Award in Memoriam, in recognition of his advocacy of independent cinema. The award will be presented by Sundance Institute President and Founder Robert Redford and accepted by Ebert's wife, Chaz Ebert. Kerry Washington will present Ryan Coogler with the Vanguard Award, Presented by Tiffany & Co. Coogler is a director and alum of the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program. His first feature film, Fruitvale Station, was selected for Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab and went on to win both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.

THE BIBLE is once again the #1 show on all of television Sunday night with 10.9 million total viewers. In addition, the series garnered 4.2 million Adults 25-54 and 3.5 million Adults 18-49.
