A Red Orchid Extends TRAITOR Due To Overwhelming Demand

A Red Orchid Theatre announces the extension of Traitor, an adaptation of Heinrich Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, written by Ensemble Member Brett Neveu and directed by Ensemble Member Michael Shannon, due to overwhelming demand. The production features Ensemble Members Dado, Kirsten Fitzgerald, Larry Grimm, Guy Van Swearingen and Natalie West, with Jacob Alexander, Mary Jo Bolduc, Missi Davis, Kristin Ellis, Nation Henrickson, Frank Nall and Steve Walker, featuring lighting design by Ensemble Member Mike Durst. Traitor will add Wednesday evening performances in February and now runs through March 4, 2018. 2018 at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells. Tickets for the extension are on sale now.

Gilded Balloon and Redbeard Theatre Present BORDERS

After winning Best Theatre at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe Awards with Echoes, and the Adelaide Critics' Circle Award in 2017 with Angel, three-time Fringe First Winner Henry Naylor returns to Holden Street Theatres, 34 Holden Street Hindmarsh, for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe for the Australian premiere of his multi-award-winning hit, Borders from 13 February to 18 March in The Studio. NOTE: both venue and performance times have changed since the 2018 Fringe Guide was published.

Australian Hit SONGS FOR NOBODIES To Have Its European Premiere At Wilton's Music Hall In 2018

Wilton's Music Hall will host the European premi re of Songs For Nobodies (running 21 March 7 April), a brand new play with songs featuring music from five iconic divas; Judy Garland, Pasty Cline, Billie Holiday, Edith Piaf and Maria Callas. Accompanied by live musicians, this funny and moving performance was written especially for Bernadette Robinson by Joanna Murray-Smith (Honour, Bombshells, The Female of the Species) and directed by Simon Phillips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the Musical).

Papatango Announces Tour Dates for World Premiere of HANNA

Papatango today announce the full tour dates for the world premi re of Sam Potter's Hanna which she wrote as part of her residency with the company the play is also published by Nick Hern Books. Directed by the company's Artistic Director George Turvey and starring Sophie Khan Levy, Hanna opens at the Arcola Theatre on 5 January 2018, with previews from 3 January, and runs until 20 January ahead of a 10-venue national tour to Cheltenham, Oxford, Canterbury, Bedford, Luton, Exeter, Mold, Liverpool, Greenwich and Cardiff.
