At a public unveiling ceremony today, October 22 at 1:00pm, the 400 block of West 121st street between Morningside Drive and Amsterdam Avenue will officially be co-named 'George Carlin Way,' after the celebrated comedian, actor and author, George Carlin, who grew up on West 121 Street.

Confirmed attendees include Colin Quinn and Keith Olbermann, along with Carlin's daughter Kelly, older brother Patrick, comedian Kevin Bartini, who headed the efforts in the co-naming of street.

The comic's comic, Nick DiPaolo is a regular on the Comedy Central Roasts, Howard Stern Show and Opie and Anthony and was in the film Beer League. The very funny Nick DiPaolo is bringing his stand-up show to The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, August 2, at 8 p.m.

DiPaolo has four standup specials, which he wrote and starred in, four CDs and a one-hour Showtime special "Raw Nerve" to write home about. Special guest is Meghan Hanley, a New York comedian, writer and actor who was voted one of New York's Emerging Comics by The NYC Underground Comedy Festival in 2010. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.
