HEADVOICE, a new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by Ethan Andersen, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

 Jewish Plays Project (JPP), a development organization committed to putting bold, progressive Jewish conversations on world stages, continues its annual Open: Festival of play readings and workshops at the 14th Street Y including four new full-length plays and one new musical by Margot Connolly, Sarah Gancher, Gary Jaffe, David Hein & Irene Sankoff, and Sam Lahne.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) in association with Tomorrow's Child, Inc. & Actors' Playhouse Productions presents REAL MEN, a musical for guys and the women who put up with them with book, music and lyrics by Paul Louis and Nick Santa Maria. David Arisco directs a cast of three, including Paul Louis (Regional: Little Shop; Spamalot), Nick Santa Maria (Bway: Grease, The Producers) and Stephen G. Anthony (Bway: Hank Williams, Lost Highway). Mannyville LLC and Dramatic Question Theatre in association with the New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the premiere of Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty with book by Noemi de la Puente, music by David Davila & Howard Post, Lyrics by Noemi de la Puente & David Davila with direction by Jose Zayas, choreography by Sidney Erik Wright and musical direction by Karl Hedrick. The new musical will play at the 2015 NYMF from July 21 -27 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

The 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival presents To Hell and Back in concert on Tuesday, July 7th. Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, this indie-rock album musical follows a broken songwriter on a madcap cab ride into a soundless world to save his muse from the hands of a lonely fangirl. Music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson Award-winning songwriter Joel B. New.

CLAUDIO QUEST, a super new musical, receives its New York premiere this July as part of the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. With a book, music and lyrics Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet and direction by Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), CLAUDIO QUEST begins performances July 7, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre and runs through July 14, 2015.  Individual tickets go on sale Monday, June 15 and can be purchased at www.claudioquest.com.

THE COBALTEANS, a new musical featuring book and lyrics by Yianni Papadimos, music by Ben Chavez and additional music by Andrew Bridges and Yianni Papadimos, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Additional Broadway performers, Zak Resnick and Lilli Cooper, join 'Joey Contreras In Concert' Thursday, July 16, 2015  at 8 PM at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

After his critically acclaimed and sold-out concert honoring composer Maury Yeston, singer/songwriter Tim Realbuto (Ghostlight; Wunderkind) returns to the concert stage to honor more of his favorite composers with 'Tim Realbuto: Live In Living Color', an evening celebrating the songwriting duo of Marc Shamian and Scott Wittman, who are responsible for hits such as Hairspray and Catch Me If You Can. The June 9th concert event will take place at 7:00 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street, NYC) and promises to feature Realbuto's interpretation of many of Shaiman and Wittman's biggest hits.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Grep Cooper Productions, LLC are pleased to present ACAPPELLA, a musical about finding your own voice, conceived by Greg Cooper, with book by Vynnie Meli and music and lyrics by The Acappella Company, as an Invited Selection of the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Here is Zak Resnick singing 'Reason to Fall' by Zoe Sarnak from her musical The Years Between: a poignant window into lives, loves, and dreams of the new 'lost generation' set to a rock, folk, pop and soul score. The piece centers on Piper, a 27 year-old modern Peter Pan living in a modern American city, and the group of millennials in her life. They struggle financially, change jobs, and move through long term but non-committal relationships in a snapshot of the 'boomerang' (NY Times) generation and their idealized, if sometimes misguided, search for purpose. One of those friends is Damon, parentless and fiercely loyal to his friends and relationships. Damon has his heart broken by BA, the woman he thought he'd marry. He revisits their old apartment together and standing in a ghost-town of their memories he sings.
