Forthcoming productions at the National Theatre, announced today by Nicholas Hytner, include plays familiar, rare and new: Shakespeare's Othello, Gorky's Children of the Sun,James Baldwin's The Amen Corner;Marlowe's Edward II, Pirandello's Liola, Eugene O'Neill's Strange Interlude and Georg Kaiser's From Morning to Midnight. Tori Amos and Samuel Adamson's musical The Light Princess will premiere in October, and there will be a new adaptation of Emil and the Detectives for family audiences at Christmas.

Starbucks, KEXP and Seattle Theatre Group (STG) are welcoming the Little Big Show series back in 2013. This will mark the fifth concert in the series and will feature The Walkmen and Father John Misty with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Seattle's YOUTH IN FOCUS organization. The afterschool program uses intensive photography training as a tool to help disadvantaged teens develop personal voice, positive identity, social skills and artistic skills, offering free, multi-level classes for teens ages 13-19 in both film and digital photography.

Cloud Cult were honored to headline the second of a two night sold out Minneapolis celebration for Minnesota Public Radio 89.3 The Current's 8th Birthday Party on Saturday, January 19th at First Avenue. Joining them on the bill for this illustrious night were none other than Soul Asylum's Dave Pirner along with Now, Now and The Chalice. On the heels of this event, the band is thrilled to announce a headlining tour of the US this April and May following the March 5th release of their new full-length studio album Love on Earthology Records. The band will kick off the two month tour in Boston, MA at Brighton Music Hall on April 10th and will play select dates across the US that has them visiting most major cities.

Ra Ra Riot's Beta Love is out now on Barsuk and today the band will be posting the Beta Love Visualizer on their site. This interactive piece merges the music of Beta Love together with real time audio visualization all inside an HTML5 based application. The band will kick off their U.S. tour with a sold out hometown show tonight at Music Hall of Williamsburg which will be live-streamed in full HD via The Bowery Presents Live channel on YouTube at 10pm. Ra Ra Riot's third album Beta Love is set for release today, January 22 on Barsuk Records. The album marks the band's first outing as a four piece with members Wes Miles on vocals, Milo Bonacci on guitar, Mathieu Santos on bass and Rebecca Zeller on violin forming the core of the group.

SPANK! takes place at the historic Moore Theatre, February 13-17, 2013.

NPR Music "All Songs Considered" premieres the title track "Beta Love" from Ra Ra Riot's third album. Beta Love is set for release January 22 on Barsuk Records with pre-order starting today. The album marks the band's first outing as a four piece with members Wes Miles on vocals, Milo Bonacci on guitar, Mathieu Santos on bass and Rebecca Zeller on violin forming the core of the group. Beta Love's songs are informed by the works of cyperpunk novelist William Gibson and futurist Ray Kurzweil's musings on the technological singularity and transhumanism.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, January 20. In Seattle, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making 20 tickets available at $25 apiece.
