Last week viewers were asked to vote via twitter on a new style of dance for each couple to perform; this week the couples perform their chosen style, including the Flamenco, Charleston, Afro Jazz, Lindy Hop and Hip Hop. Each couple will also be challenged to take on a ballroom or Latin style dance they have yet to perform this season.

Last night, The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards and Nokia hosted a pre-party at L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia to celebrate nominees and artists in Electronic Dance Music, a new award category in this year's show. Nominees in this category include David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Skrillex. There were special DJ performances by Audrey Napoleon and electronic dance music act Nero. dick clark productions (dcp) has announced that Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY, The Wanted and Swizz Beatz featuring Chris Brown and Ludacris will all perform on THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS.
