SISTER'S CHRISTMAS CATECHISM Returns to Long Wharf this December

Long Wharf Theatre announces that Entertainment Events' production of Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold, by Maripat Donovan with Jane Morris and Marc Silvia, will return to Long Wharf Theatre on Stage II from December 5 through December 17, 2017.

Set in the 1930s, during the heyday of traveling carnival sideshows, Pinter uses the carney swindling Captain Greedy's Carnival as a direct analogy to the ensnaring market crash of 2008, as well as, the present day political arena.

Flying Elephant Productions to Launch Inaugural Season with 'WE THE PEOPLE' at Stage 773

Flying Elephant Productions has announced its inaugural season, launching this winter with the world premiere of WE THE PEOPLE SONGS OF THE RESISTANCE, a political song cycle about the 2016 election, which takes audiences from the conventions through election night and its immediate aftermath into the realization of Trump's America and finally, a call to action from We The People.

The Addams Family Plans Extended Visit To Manhattan's Morris-Jumel Mansion

Morris-Jumel is proud to announce a terrific and timely new exhibit of the famed New Yorker cartoonist, Charles Addams, for the Fall/Winter 2017 season. Charles Addams Family and Friends will explore family values, rearing of children, entertaining and family outings. Additionally, the exhibition looks at New York and presidential life and will feature memorabilia as well as other Addams ephemera. The opening reception is, appropriately, on Friday October 13th at 6PM at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace, New York City. The exhibit will run until February 18th. Casting Announced For QUAINT HONOUR at Finborough Theatre

Presented for the first time since its world premiere in 1958 and celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the Sexual Offences Act of 1967 which decriminalised homosexuality in the UK, Quaint Honour by Roger Gellert runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 29 October 2017.

Boo! Fox Theatre Ghost Tours On Sale Now

It will be a spook-tacular time at the theater, as the Fox Theatre opens its doors for the fifth annual Fox Theatre Ghost Tours this Halloween season. A motley crew of historical spirits and specters will join guests as they walk the haunted halls of one of the city's most treasured landmarks to learn about ghastly sightings or unexplained bumps in the night.

For #ThrowbackThursday, BANDSTAND composer Richard Oberacker shared footage of Corey Cott and Laura Osnes recording the very first demo of 'This Is Life,' newly added to the musical in the first days of rehearsal for Broadway. Watch them perform the original version, including first draft lyrics and a slightly longer ending, in the video below, featuring Oberacker on piano!
