Joe's Pub Presents Tammy Faye Starlite as Nico and The Blow, 7/9

Scott Foster, Mossberg, et al. Lead POWER BALLADZ; Opens 8/19

Some of the greatest rock anthems of the 70's, 80's and 90's take center stage in the new rock cabaret musical POWER BALLADZ, debuting Off-Broadway at the Midtown Theatre (163 W. 46 St.) in Manhattan, with previews starting August 5th prior to an official press opening on August 19th. Not your typical theater experience, POWER BALLADZ is a 90-minute rock tribute that gives audiences the chance to unleash their inner rock star: part comedy, part interactive game show, and a genuine joy ride through the music and legend of rock songs by powerhouse bands such as Guns 'N' Roses, Journey, Heart, Queens, Bon Jovi, Styx and more. POWER BALLADZ is created by Mike Todaro and Dan Nycklemoe with Peter Rothstein and written by Mr. Todaro and Mr. Nycklemoe.

Hecht, Baker et al. Lead Williamstown Theatre Festival this Summer; Casting Announced

Artistic Director Nicholas Martin has announced the casting for the next three productions of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2010 Season: Our Town by Thornton Wilder, playing the Main Stage July 28 - August 8, Fifth of July by Lanford Wilson playing the Main Stage August 11 - 22, and the world premiere of After the Revolution by Amy Herzog on the Nikos Stage July 21 - August 1.

13th Annual Cinema at the Square Held Aug 5-22

Why watch a movie at home when you can celebrate cinema the way it was meant to be seen! This August, the Palace Theatre will once again play host to screening classic cinema from Hollywood's Golden Era of the 1930's through the special effects laden 1980's!

Comedy Central Announces August Programming Highlights Including Series Premieres

This August, COMEDY CENTRAL is setting fire to David Hasselhoff in 'The COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of David Hasselhoff,' chilling with loser friends in 'Big Lake' and wondering if Whitney Cummings really just said that in her new stand-up special. The only all-comedy network also has the movie premieres of 'Good Luck Chuck,' 'The Cable Guy' and 'Strange Wilderness.' New episodes of 'Tosh.0,' 'Futurama,' 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' 'Russell Simmons Presents Stand-Up at The El Rey,' 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' and 'The Colbert Report' also continue throughout August.

Performance Network Theatre Presents THE SEAFARER 6/26-7/10

Performance Network Theatre announces its production of the hit drama, 'The Seafarer' by Conor McPherson. 'The Seafarer' will begin June 10th and run through July 18th, 2010. This Broadway smash stars Hugh Maguire, Richard McWilliams ('The Retreat from Moscow'), Joel Mitchell ('Elizabeth Rex'), Keith Kalinowksi and Aaron Alpern. It is directed by Malcolm Tulip ('Amadeus').

MoCCA Announces Kids Educational Program Beginning 6/19

The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (MoCCA) announces the first children's comics classes from its Education Department beginning June 19th. The classes, COMIC ART FOR KIDS, focuses on comic art and is for children, ages 8 to 12. The classes offer a child-friendly, streamlined approach to learning the graphic language of line, form, and movement. Instructor Tom Motley will guide students through fun projects and activities designed to enable them to put their imaginative worlds down on paper as actual comics.

Crawford Joins Fonda & Keener in 'Peace, Love & Misunderstanding' Flick

Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford is the newest cast member to join filmmaker Bruce Beresford's Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding. Set to film in New York's Hudson Valley, Crawford will share the screen with Academy Award winner Jane Fonda and Academy Award nominee Catherine Keener in the BCDF Pictures production.

KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST Returns For Season Six 6/15

It almost seems like Kathy Griffin's on the A-list now, with a guest-starring role on 'Law & Order SVU,' A-list friends like Cher, Bette and Liza , more award nominations, and the role as host for the Creative Arts Emmy Awards (a.k.a 'Schemmy's') last year. But just when Kathy's enjoying her A-List hosting moment she gets back on the D-List by losing in her category. And so begins season six of Bravo's two-time Emmy winning series, 'Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List,' premiering Tuesday, June 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
