Cindy Marchionda Retruns To The Laurie Beechman Theater For A Four Month Series Of Saturdays Beginning 8/15

Following the great success of her spring engagement, dynamic singer Cindy Marchionda returns by very popular demand to The Laurie Beechman Theater for a four month series of Saturdays beginning August 15 and running also on September 5th, October 17th and November 21st with her sensational show, _'live at the beechman!'_ All shows are at 8:00. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located inside The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street (between 9th & 10th Avenues). A convenient parking lot is located on the block. A Broadway revival of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's BABES IN ARMS is in the works, according to Variety. The production will be directed and choreographed by Randy Skinner (recently Tony nominated Choreographer of 'Irving Berlin's White Christmas') and will utilize a new book by Joe DiPietro ('I Love You, You're Perfect...Now Change!', 'The Toxic Avenger' and 'Memphis'). The production will star Rosie O'Donnell.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Caf? (407 West 42nd St.), is pleased to present Jeff Award winner Cindy Marchionda in Cindy Marchionda: Live at the Beechman. Cindy?s musical director, RAY FELLMAN, will be at the piano and ANDY GALE will direct. The show explores the last two years of Cindy?s life, going from the very funny experience of entering another career to expense some very high dental bills to a very sobering reality when her father is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Expect an eclectic musical menu that includes songs by Jamie Cullum , Leiber and Stoller, Jackson Brown, The Indigo Girls, Johnny Mercer, Randy Newman and The Beatles. Performances will occur on Saturday, March 21st, Monday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 28th. All shows are at 7pm. There is a $15 cover charge and a $15 food and drink minimum for this event. Giovanni Spina had a passion to entertain since his preschool days, where he often could be found singing and dancing in the living rooms of his friends and family. This progressed to performing in school plays and musicals and soon he was attending, you guessed it, a performing arts high school. He succeeded in expanding his talents and decided to pursue his passion further by auditioning for the theatre program at the prestigious Ryerson University in Toronto. He was just about ready to begin theatre classes at Ryerson, where he beat out 2,000 aspiring actors for a spot in the program when he got the call about an audition for a small role in a little something called…Camp Rock.

Bellport's Gateway Playhouse Keeps Rolling Along
