Full casting is announced today for cult rock musical BARE, which will transfer to Greenwich Theatre for a limited run from Wednesday 9 toSaturday 27 October 2013 (press night Friday 11 October) following its sold-out European Premiere at the Union Theatre. A contemporary rock musical, Bare follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school.

Based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, this critically acclaimed new musical is created by a top-of-their-class creative team, led by Tony Award-winning director and Olivier Award-nominated choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray). Grease returned to London on 25 July 2007 (with a press night on 8th August) and since its premiere the feel-good audience favourite has played over 1,300 performances and has been seen by over 1¼million theatregoers at the Piccadilly Theatre, where it is the longest running show in the venue's history. Grease will close on 30 April 2011 after nearly four electrifyin' years in the West End and will immediately begin a national tour opening at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 6 May 2011. Grease celebrates its third electrifying Birthday this July with a new leading lady. The producers announced that Lauren Samuels will join the cast of the smash-hit musical on 26 July 2010. Making her West End debut, Lauren will star in the iconic role of 'Sandy' until 22 January 2011 at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Noel Sullivan will continue as 'Danny' and Siubhan Harrison will also join the show in the role of 'Rizzo'.

Olympic gold medallist to star in the West End hit

The smash-hit musical Grease has a new cast from 25 January 2010 including popular Heart presenter Toby Anstis. Making his West End debut, the radio star will gain a host of angels when he joins the cast as ‘Teen Angel' for a limited season from 25 January to 20 March 2010 at London's Piccadilly Theatre.
