FST has announced the winning plays of this year's Young Playwright's Festival. For 25 years, FST has honored thousands of young playwrights from all around the world through the WRITE A PLAY(WAP) program. Over the course of the 2015-2016 season, FST received plays written by over 3,600 young playwrights, aged 5-18. The release date for Civil War film Union Bound has been pushed back to April 22nd following positive buzz generated from early screenings. Steve Poynot, Howard Bank Senior Vice President, received the 2015 Leadership Council Award presented by the Community Foundation of Howard County on Thursday, November 12 at its annual Celebration of Philanthropy dinner in Ellicott City. Poynot was honored for his service and contributions to the Howard County Arts Council (HCAC), where he serves on the Board as Immediate Past President.
