Breaking News - THE NUTTY PROFESSOR to Hit Broadway in November 2012?

According to The Wall Street Journal, comedian Jerry Lewis revealed on Friday night during celebrations for his 86th birthday, that THE NUTTY PROFESSOR will hit Broadway this fall, with a planned opening of November 15th.
The production, which had originally aimed for the 2010/11 season will star entertainer Michael Andrew. Lewis first revealed the production and introduced Andrew back in 2006 while hosting the MDA telethon, video of which apepars below.
Lewis also revealed that joining the production team would be choreographer Kathleen Marshall.
TV Land Names LA Zoo Baby Orangutan After Betty White's HOT IN CLEVELAND Character

TV Land, which airs the 'Hot In Cleveland' television series starring Betty White, has made an arrangement with the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) and named the Los Angeles Zoo's new baby orangutan after White's character 'Elka,' it was announced by GLAZA President Connie Morgan and TV Land President Larry W. Jones. The gift concludes a spectacular string of events celebrating the 90th birthday of GLAZA Co-Chairman White, known for her 50 years of devotion to the Los Angeles Zoo and her life-long commitment to animals.

The summer's most acclaimed new play, The Best of Enemies, by Mark St. Germain (author of Freud's Last Session), returns to Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, for a run from tonight through 16 at the BSC Mainstage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield. The press opening is Saturday, October 8 at 8pm.
TV Land Begins Production on HOT IN CLEVELAND Season 3

TV Land announced today that the network's hit original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' begins production on its third season this week. The series, which stars veteran sitcom actresses Valerie Bertinelli ('One Day At A Time'), Jane Leeves ('Frasier'), Wendie Malick ('Just Shoot Me') and Betty White ('Golden Girls'), was just awarded a Creative Arts Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Art Direction For A Multi-Camera Series (Michael Andrew Hynes and Maralee Zediker). Betty White was also recently nominated for an Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the sitcom. 'Hot in Cleveland' will have its season three premiere on Wednesday, November 30th at 10PM ET/PT, immediately followed by the series premiere of TV Land's newest original sitcom, 'The Exes.'
