The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces a one night only performance of Broadway Showstoppers featuring award-winning performing artists Mandy Gonzalez, Cady Huffman, Telly Leung and Alton Fitzgerald White will take place on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 7:30 p.m., Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, in Pittsburgh's Cultural District. The TRUST Cabaret Series is presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and provides a unique and intimate opportunity for audiences to experience the finest cabaret acts in the entertainment industry. The evening will include these four talented Broadway stars singing songs on their repertoire from shows in which they have performed. Stephen DeAngelis is the creator, producer and host of Broadway Showstoppers, with musical direction and accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz.

Tony-nominated songwriters Justin Paul and Benj Pasek and playwright Timothy Allen McDonald will release the highly anticipated ultimate cast recording for Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach on Tuesday, April 21. The album features a previously unannounced special guest track by Skylar Astin (Spring Awakening, "Pitch Perfect").

Having garnered acclaim for performances on stage and screen, Megan Hilty makes her return to Cafe Carlyle in a two-week engagement, May 19-30. In Songs For My Daughter, Hilty will perform the classics that shaped her childhood and which she'll pass on to her recently-born daughter. Of her previous engagement at the Cafe, Stephen Holden of The New York Times exclaimed, 'Ms. Hilty projected the attitude of a frisky, fun-loving gal... she reveled in the pleasure of as big and loud a sound as she could muster.' Hilty will be joined by Music Director Matt Cusson on piano, Brian Gallagher on guitar, Ryan Hoagland on percussion and Dennis Keefe on bass.

The Marfan Foundation honored Isaiah Austin, the former Baylor University basketball star, and Carolyn Levering, Emeritus CEO of The Marfan Foundation, with its 2015 Hero with a Heart Award at the 15th Heartworks last night, April 16, in New York City. Michael Bloomberg, Jill Martin, & Walt Clyde Frazier were in attendance, enjoying entertainment by Broadway's Megan Hilty. Tony Award winner James Naughton acted as emcee.
