The upcoming broadcast season is undoubtedly going to be a good one. At least a whole lot better than the current slate of programming (most networks have ditched their 2012-2013 additions). NBC, CBS, Fox, and ABC have managed to enlist some major talent to headline their new shows for the 2013-2014 lineup, and are now in the process of announcing their pick-ups. It's a rarity for execs to land such names as Rebel Wilson, Gillian Anderson, Robin Williams, Allison Janney, Anna Faris, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Greg Kinnear at all - let alone all for new series in one year. And so, below are the top ten just-ordered network shows with the most potential!
NBC to Extend THE OFFICE Finale by 15 Minutes

NBC is extending the length of the final episode of 'The Office,' with a running time that will now extend from 9-10:15 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 16.

In the finale episode of THE OFFICE, months after the airing of the documentary, the workers of Dunder Mifflin, past and present, gather for a wedding and a final round of interviews. Mysteries are solved, hatchets are buried, pranks are prunked. In addition, a retrospective special will air at 8:00, prior to the final episode. Check out a first look at the two below!

NBC Passes on THE OFFICE Spin-Off, THE FARM

With THE OFFICE wrapping up its final season, NBC had originally planned on producing a spin-off of the hit series, entitled THE FARM. It would follow Rainn Wilson's character, Dwight Schrute. Today, Wilson has announced via Twitter that NBC would not be picking up the series.

Universal Music Enterprises and Castle Face Records have joined forces for the release of the 45th Anniversary of The Velvet Underground & Nico with a tribute album featuring indie artists Ty Segall ('Femme Fatale'), Thee Oh Sees ('European Son'), White Fence ('Run Run Run), The Fresh and Onlys ('All Tomorrow's Parties') among others. Brian Eno famously said 'the album may not have sold many copies, but everyone who bought it formed a band.' This partnership between UMe and Castle Face Records is a true testament of the influence of The Velvet Underground.

As first reported on TVLine.com, Mike Schur will reprise his role of Dwight Schrute's 'oddball' cousin Mose in the upcoming 'Office' spin-off THE FARM. Schur is the current showrunner of NBC's Parks & Recreation and the former executive producer of 'The Office.'

Deadline.com reports that more casting has been announced for the upcoming spin-off to NBC's long-running series THE OFFICE. Actors Tom Bower (Die Hard 2) and Matt Jones will now join previously announced cast members Rainn Wilson, Majanadra Delfino and Thomas Middleditch on THE FARM, a new comedy set to debut mid-season.
