Photo Flash: Rebecca Luker Celebrates GREENWICH TIME at Barnes & Noble

Rebecca Luker has been a Broadway favorite since she stepped in as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera in 1988. She is currently starring in Mary Poppins for which she earned a 2007 Tony Award® nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Other Broadway credits include Show Boat (Tony® nomination), The Music Man (Tony® nomination), Nine, the most recent revival of The Sound of Music, and The Secret Garden. Ms. Luker recently performed to sold-out audiences at her critically acclaimed American Songbook Series of solo concerts at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Her recordings include Leaving Home (PSClassics.com), Anything Goes: Rebecca Luker Sings Cole Porter, Aria, Aria 2 and Aria 3 (Koch records), The Boys From Syracuse, Wonderful Town, Annie Get Your Gun, Broadway Showstoppers, Jerome Kern Treasury, and Brigadoon.

Children's Playhouse Of MD Presents ONCE UPON A MATTRESS 5/9-10, 16-17, 23-24

The Children's Playhouse of Maryland, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, presents the uproarious musical comedy, Once Upon A Mattress. Performances are 1 p.m., May 9 - 10, 16 - 17, 23 - 24 and a special 4 p.m. performance May 17 and will be held in the 'J' Building Lecture Hall (J-137) at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Kevin Dozier Debuts LOVE-WISE At Barnes & Noble 2/18

Award-winning singer KEVIN DOZIER, who was named ?Male Performer of the Year' at the 2003 San Francisco Cabaret Competition, will debut his new CD 'LOVE-WISE' at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle, 1972 Broadway at 66th Street, on Wednesday, February 18th at 6 PM as part of the ?Any Wednesday' Series of free concerts. Kevin made his highly anticipated NYC cabaret debut last June with Musical director/arranger CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE at the piano and played an equally successful return engagement in October. During his 10 years in San Francisco, he headlined at San Francisco's Plush Room, performed at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center, Lush Lounge, and in various benefit concerts including 2 editions of Steve Murray's Viva Variety. He has appeared with such entertainers as Bobby McFerrin, Carmen McRae and Barry Manilow.
