Brown Box Theatre Project Opens SOME EXPLICIT POLAROIDS, 2/17

Brown Box Theatre Project has announced upcoming performances of their first show of the 2012 season. Some Explicit Polaroids by British playwright Mark Ravenhill will be performed for two weekends in late February at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. This show not only marks the premier performance of Some Explicit Polaroids to the Boston area, but also Brown Box Theatre Project's first production since relocating from New York City to the Boston area this November past.

Brown Box Theatre Project has announced upcoming performances of their first show of the 2012 season. Royal Shakespeare Company Announces 2012/13 Season

Following the World Shakespeare Festival, the RSC's winter season opens in October with a family show - a new adaptation of Russell Hoban's classic children's story The Mouse and His Child. Acclaimed as one of the classics of 20th century children's literature, The Mouse and His Child is a moving story about two clockwork mice thrown on a scrap heap who then have tobegin a dangerous quest for a place to belong. It is adapted for the stage by Tamsin Oglesby and will be directed by Told By An Idiot's Co-Artistic Director, Paul Hunter, who directed the RSC's recent Young People's Shakespeare production of The Comedy of Errors.

According to Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail, Abi Morgan's LOVESONG will begin a tour at Drum Theatre, Plymouth, in September, and finish at the Lyric Hammersmith in January 2012.

King's Head Theatre Announces Final Performances of CORONATION OF POPPEA

Mark Ravenhill's ‘The Coronation of Poppea' announces last three dates. Following its 3 month sell out run, the critically acclaimed ‘The Coronation of Poppea' is closing the summer season at the King's Head Theatre with its final 3 shows on the 29, 30 and 31 August. Monteverdi's tale of the triumphant adultery between Poppea and Roman Emperor Nero gets a radical treatment in Mark Ravenhill and Alex Silverman's new version, with a new jazz-inspired orchestration, and a world-class cast of singers. The show is directed by OperaUpClose Associate Director Mark Ravenhill, who made his directorial debut with the company and features a new aria written by Michael Nyman.

Out of Joint Theatre Co Brings Four Shows To London
