San Francisco Ballet Announces Digital Season in 2021

Artistic Director and Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson today announced plans to present a streamed, all-digital 2021 Season. With the continuing health pandemic placing restrictions on large public in-person gatherings, Tomasson curated a reimagined season.

Global Performers Highlighted In MarshStream International Solo Fest

Meany Center Announces Fall Schedule Changes; Season Opening Postponed To January

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Meany Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Washington will not be presenting live, in-person performances during the fall of 2020. The season opening has been moved back to January 2021, and some fall performances have been canceled or rescheduled for late winter or spring. Virtual programming is being developed with many of the artists as an alternative to live performances. Events planned for January through May 2021 are anticipated to go forward when state, county and university guidelines permit. 

Mark Morris Dance Group Hosts Live Online Listening Parties

As theaters remain closed, the Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) continues to connect with audiences through interactive online programming this summer. Its newest offering is a series of free, livestreamed Listening Parties with Mark Morris and Colin Fowler, MMDG Music Director. The first event will stream Thursday, July 23 at 8:00 pm ET, with subsequent events on August 13 and September 17.

Mark Morris Dance Center Offers Online Dance And Fitness Classes, Live And On Demand

The Mark Morris Dance Center is offering a robust schedule of online classes this summer, both live and on demand. Dance classes are offered in Afro-Caribbean, ballet, flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, and West African. Fitness classes include full-body conditioning and Pilates. Taught by Mark Morris Dance Group company members and Mark Morris Dance Center faculty, these classes are designed for adult students (ages 14+) at the beginner and intermediate levels.
