Program: Think It, Do It, which empowers TCG Member Theatres to take groundbreaking approaches to artistic, managerial, production and/or technological challenges and opportunities. Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced today that multi-award-winning actor Hollis Resnik will perform the lead role in End of the Rainbow, a theatrical homage to the late, great Judy Garland. An accomplished stage, television and film actor, Resnik brings the depth of acting and musical experience to portray the iconic Garland as well as the emotional intensity and high energy that the role demands. End of the Rainbow runs from January 7 - March 9 and opens on Friday, January 10 on The Rep's Quadracci Powerhouse main stage theater.

Richard Maltby, Jr. created the piece and will also direct The Rep's production. It was originally conceived by William Meade with orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby. Malty is re-conceiving his Johnny Cash tribute specifically for a five-member ensemble for The Rep's Stackner Cabaret. The cast features Trenna Barnes, Eddie Clendening, Jason Edwards, David Miles Keenan and Mark W. Winchester, who are all making their Rep debuts.
