60! DECADA DE ARROMBA - DOC. MUSICAL at Theatro NET SP

'60! Decada de Arromba - Doc. Musical' embraces Wanderlea - one of the greatest Brazilian icons of the period - as his great muse and memory of events that marked each of the years between 1960 and 1969. The result was standing applause for more than 37 thousand people who sold out all the sessions of the season in Rio de Janeiro. A vibrant, non-biographical show, without any classic dramaturgy or characters, capable of taking audiences to a true journey in time, now arrives in Sao Paulo and promises to delight all generations. The direction is by Frederico Reder and script by Marcos Nauer.

Two River Theater Announces the Lineup of Artists for AN EVENING ON THE MUSICAL FRONTIER

Two River Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces An Evening on the Musical Frontier, a benefit performance featuring songs from musicals in development at Two River. Alec Baldwin is the Honorary Event Chair for the one-night special event on Friday, May 12, which will begin with a cocktail reception at 6pm.

Hershey Felder Returns to San Diego Rep as Irving Berlin

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced the return of the highly acclaimed and widely popular holiday show, "Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin." The newly announced show, a holiday offering during the downtown theatre's 42nd season, features songs by Irving Berlin and a book by Hershey Felder, with direction from longtime Felder collaborator Trevor Hay. The show's run begins on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 and plays through Sunday, January 7, 2018 with a press opening on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. on the Lyceum Stage Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.

THE BOY FROM OZ Headed to Kelsey Theatre This May

Forte Dramatic Productions partners with Pierott Productions to bring Allen's musical biography to the stage at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Fridays, May 12 and 19 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 13 and 20 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.

Long Island Premiere of RIPCORD Opens Tonight at Bare Bones Theater

Current Harbor & The Tank presents THE WHALEPHANT

The Whalephant intertwines the story of two Massachusetts men, past and present: Moses Spouter, a famed and possibly unhinged Nantucket whaling captain; and his great-great grandson, Abe Spouter, day-drunk and proud and generally pissed, who captains a whale-watching boat off the coast of Cape Cod.  It's a play about history and family, cetaceans and shanties, and the search for self at sea.
