On Monday, March 14, the National Touring Company of WICKED will host 'Our Wicked Romance,' a Jazz Cabaret. Held at THE MEZZ, 100 South Eola Drive in Orlando, the event will feature cast and crew members of the company. The company of the first North American tour of WICKED welcomes Gene Weygandt as The Wizard on Tuesday, September 14 in Boston, MA. Weygandt, a WICKED veteran, has previously played The Wizard in Chicago and on Broadway. On Broadway, he created the role of Paul in big: The Musical and is a three-time recipient of Chicago's Jefferson Award. Mr. Weygandt's many film and TV credits include: The Birdcage, The Babe, 'The Beast,' 'Cybill,' 'Home Improvement,' 'Murphy Brown,' 'Drew Carey,' 'Ellen,' 'Coach' and 'USA High.'

Curtain Call's popular Musical Mondays series finishes its ninth season of presenting new musical theater works in concert on Monday, April 19, 7:30 pm with 'Take Me, America.' 'Take Me, America' was written by composer Bob Christianson and book writer / lyricist Bill Nabel. Nabel is best known for logging more than 9,000 performances as Broadway actor in such long-running shows as 'A Chorus Line,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Evita,' '42nd Street' and 'Sweeney Todd. Christianson has composed for film and television, conducted Broadway musicals and recorded with Diana Ross, Judy Collins and Aretha Franklin, among many other artists.

I'M JUST GLAD YOU'RE HERE, a collection of songs with lyrics by Charlie Sohne, will be performed at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Monday, October 5 at 9:30 p.m. The show features performances by Celina Carvajal (Toxic Avenger, MTV's 'Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods'), Sevan Greene (Betrayed), Amy Justman (White Christmas, Company), Jed Resnick (Rent national tour, Avenue Q), Jodi Stevens (Urban Cowboy, Jekyll & Hyde) and Mariand Torres (Giant). The show includes music by David Gaines, Tim Rosser, Matt Van Brink, and Chris Wade.
