Curve is delighted to announce its new production of the award-winning West End and Broadway smash hit musical comedy Legally Blonde, playing at the theatre until Saturday the 14th May, will embark upon a two week run at Deagu Opera House in South Korea. Working with Richard Darbourne Ltd as part of the Deagu International Music Festival, the musical, directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, will perform internationally from 25th June to Saturday 2nd July.

On April 4, 2016, Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre honored the Broadway librettist John Weidman(Assassins, Pacific Overtures, Road Show) with the company's seventh Stephen Sondheim Award. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential musical theater writer and composer, was presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit at the Embassy of Italy. Marin Theatre Company is pleased to announce Lauren Gunderson as its new playwright in residence for the next three years, which has been made possible by a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Ms. Gunderson's has a long collaboration with MTC, which premiered her award-winning play I And You as a part of the National New Play Network's rolling world premiere in 2013, and will premiere her new play Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, co-authored with Margot Melcon, later this year.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for GHOST QUARTET and THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS will go on sale Today, February 11 at 10 a.m. GHOST QUARTET, a song cycle about love, death and whiskey, with music and lyrics by two-time OBIE Award winner Dave Malloy, will be performing four shows April 7 through April 9, 2016.
